Research on the History and Current Status of BCG Vaccine

چکیده

Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) is a vaccine used to prevent tuberculosis. It made from live, attenuated strain of Mycobacterium bovis . When injected into the human body, it causes mild infection that produces immunity tuberculosis bacterium. The BCG primarily as preventive measure against in children, and generates special resistance disease. To honor its inventors, French scientists Calmette Guérin, was named "BCG vaccine". Currently, most countries around world have included one mandatory vaccines their immunization programs. This study will focus on development vaccine, exploring history current status, including relationship with pulmonary tuberculosis, research progress, vaccination methods significance, well future development.
